INTUC leadership meet

PALAKKAD: A leadership meet of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) here on Wednesday said that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Kerala is not taking sincere steps to arrest the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities. The leadership meeting also urged the LDF government, its Ministers and people’s representatives to follow the example of the government and Ministers of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) at the Centre who had cut down their salaries and allowance to express their sympathy to the suffering people. —Staff Reporter
