Army recruitment rally

BANGALORE: The Indian Army will hold a recruitment rally between September 5 and 9 at the District Stadium, in Tumkur.

The rally will be held for volunteer male candidates in the age group seventeen-and-a-half to 23 years, who are permanent residents of Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Kolar, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Ramanagara and Chickaballapur districts. The rally is being conducted for enrolment in the categories of soldier general duty, soldier technical, soldier clerk/storekeeper technical, soldier nursing assistant, soldier general duty (animal and store handler, store handler general duty), soldier tradesmen and re-enrolment of ex-servicemen into defence security corps (DSC) as soldier general duty, said a press release.
