Yeddyurappa’s fiat to hospitals

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa on Wednesday asked private hospitals not to wait for a formal notification from the Government on extending free treatment to A(H1N1) patients.

Speaking to pressperson after attending a review of the party’s recently concluded first phase of the membership drive in Bangalore, Mr. Yeddyurappa said free treatment should not be declined to any patients on the pretext of not receiving government notification in this regard.

He said at least the poor and middle class patients should get free treatment from private hospitals.
