Sneijder signs with Inter Milan
MILAN: Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder has signed with Serie A champion Inter Milan, according to media reports in Italy and Spain on Wednesday.
Following morning training, the 25-year-old Sneijder spent the afternoon discussing terms with Inter before agreeing to the move.
He could go straight into the squad for the Milan derby on Saturday.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho has been pursuing the Dutch midfielder for most of the summer and had hoped to have him contracted before the Italian season started last weekend. — AP
