Change in menu mooted

HYDERABAD: The mid-day meal programme in Government schools is set to have a different menu due to the shortage and escalating price of red gram. Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has asked officials to introduce green gram, chick pea and dried green peas (batani) as an alternative to red gram, an official release said. He gave the instructions at a review of mid-day meal scheme with officials on Saturday.
