Paintings and Jewel expo

CHENNAI: The ‘Paintings and Jewels Expo’ got under way organised by the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation at the C.P. Art Centre here on Friday. The exhibition-cum-sale features an exquisite collection of paintings and jewellery.

The painting collection includes Thanjavur, Kalamkari, Batik, Oil, Canvas, Jaipur, Gem stone, Silk, Glass, Raja Ravi Varma, Palm Leaf and Bamboo paintings. The jewellery collection is sourced from different States. The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. till September 6. A special discount of 10 per cent is offered on all items, a press release here said.
