Congress, CPI announce candidates

VIJAYAWADA: The Congress and the CPI have announced their candidates for the 44th division on Sunday. The CPI party will be supported by the CPI (M) and the TDP.

The candidates were given the B-forms in simple functions in their respective party offices.

While Yadhala Srinivasa Rao, who recently quit the CPI and joined the Congress, was given the B-form by city Congress president Pyla Sominaidu, Vijayawada Central MLA Malladi Vishnu, former Deputy Mayor S. Narasaraju, floor leader A. Ambedkar and whip M. Rajeswara Rao at a programme in Andhra Ratna Bhavan, Kandula Subramanyam was given the B-form by CPI city secretary and former MLA K. Subba Raju at Palme Dutt Bhavan.
