Training programme for woman police

CHENNAI: A training programme for woman police personnel on ‘Family counselling and dealing with woman victims of violence’ commenced at the Modern Control Room at the Commissionerate here on Monday.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) M. Ravi inaugurated the 10-day programme that is being organised in association with the Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Board. Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Board Chairperson Salma and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Crime Branch) C. Sridhar spoke, police sources said.
