Another death reported

Bangalore: Another person died of A(H1N1) influenza in the city on Monday taking the death toll to 26 in the State. The latest victim is 29-year-old Sudhakar, a driver, who was referred to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases (RGICD) from M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital on August 29.
RGICD Director Shashidhar Buggi said the person had developed symptoms on August 22 and had seen a local physician for four days after which he went to M.S. Ramaiah Hospital.
Meanwhile, 16 more persons tested positive for the disease taking the total number of confirmed cases to 463 in the State.
A 29-year-old techie, who has tested positive for A(H1N1), is in a critical condition in Lakeside Hospital.
