Two children missing

Two children were reported missing from two different locations in the city. Chitra (25) from Kancheepuram was travelling to Aruppukottai with her child. She got down from the bus at Mattuthavani Integrated Bus Stand. After leaving her child and her suitcase near a shop, she went to the nearby toilet. When she returned, her child was missing. Anna Nagar police have registered a case of child missing.

In the second case, Meena (27) of Santhana Madha Koil Street in K. Pudur alleged that when she woke up in the morning, she found her 6-month old child missing from the home. It is suspected that some known persons would have abducted the baby over a family dispute.
