India, Namibia agree on road map

NEW DELHI: India and Namibia on Monday set a road map for the future and decided to inject fresh dynamism into many areas including human resource development, defence and IT.
“We have decided to inject fresh dynamism in our cooperation in areas such as human resource development, capacity building, trade and economic exchanges, agriculture, transportation, defence, information technology, health, energy and mining,” Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said after discussion with the visiting Namibian president Hifikepunye Pohamba here.
Dr. Singh said he renewed India’s commitments to cooperate with Namibia in its economic, social, human and infrastructure development.
