WE REGRET to announce the sudden demise of Thiru A.K.Venkat Subramanian, I.A.S., (Retd.) on 1-09-2009 at his daughter's residence at E-81, West end Heights, DLF Phase-V, Gurgaon, Haryana (Phone 0124-4050540). He held various positions in Tamil Nadu Gover nment as Secretary, Transport, Food & Co-operation, Planning & Development, Development Commr. Rural Development and in Govt. of India as Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, Director General of Supplies and Disposals. He was also a public activist camp aigning various public causes and a Member of Catalyst Trust. The funeral will be taking place at Gurgaon on 3-9-09 morning. Mrs.Lakshmi Venkatasubramanian, Mrs.Nirupama Subramanian, R.Rajesh, Niranjana Subramanian, Ramesh Balasubramaniam.
