HYDERABAD: St. Francis Degree College won the title defeating Villa Marie Degree College 2-0 in the final of the Osmania University inter-collegiate tennis tournament for girls here. The results: Final: St. Francis bt Villa Marie 2-0 (Janaki bt Poonam 7-3; Sushma bt Tejaswini 7-1). Third place: Vanitha Mahavidyalaya bt Kasturba 2-0 (Gangothri bt Swetha 7-5; Swathi bt Eketha 7-5). Tournaments postponedMeanwhile, Osmania University also announced that the inter-college badminton championship for men scheduled to be held from September 4 has been postponed to September 7. The GHMC Annual open kabaddi tournament scheduled from September 5 at Victory Playground has been postponed to September 14.
