Compulsory registration

COIMBATORE: Orphanages, children’s homes and homes for juveniles should be compulsorily registered under the Juvenile Justice Act 2000.

According to an official release, those homes that provide shelter to children in the age group of 0 – 18 should be registered under the above Act.

Those who have already applied for the same can contact the Social Welfare Department located in the Collectorate.

Those seeking applications and norms / guidelines regarding the Act should contact the Department before September 10. Filled-in applications should reach the Department before September 15.
