Dial only ‘139’

With the launching of Nation wide integrated train enquiry system working on a unique telephone number “139” by the Indian Railways and disseminating information relating to Arrival / Departure of trains, on – Line train running position, PNR reservation status, train accommodation availability etc., the working system on telephone no. 134 which is limited to local and being attended manually, has become redundant, according to a release. It requested all railway users to make use of integrated enquiry system on telephone number “139” only, the release stated.
