Workshop conducted

Staff Reporter

Tirupur: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Tirupur branch, conducted a workshop here recently to popularise the recently introduced Tally.ERP 9 (Auditor’s edition) software for statutory auditing among the chartered accountants.

Explaining the salient features of the package, General Manager of Tally Solutions D. Mohan said that the Auditor’s version of Tally.ERP 9 was embedded with special tools for accessing client’s data remotely as well as to receive client’s clarifications from within the product. “This facility will significantly increase the audit efficiency,” he added.

Mr. Mohan said that the remote audit feature in the system would allow continuous access with the clients leading to faster disclosures and better audit quality.

Quick identification of reasons for non-compliance would be possible if the software was used.

Resource persons from Systech, tally solution providers in Tirupur, coordinated the event.
