Shreyal and Poojitha top

BANGALORE: The two consistent players, Shreyal Telang and N. Poojitha stretched their good run in the season, by winning the junior boys and girls’ singles titles respectively in the State ranking table tennis championship conducted by Rover Club and Shimoga District TT Association at Shimoga on Saturday.

Shreyal defeated V.P. Charan 11-9, 11-9, 11-9, 12-10 in the boys’ singles final while Poojitha humbled Maithreyi Bailoor 11-9, 9-11, 11-7, 11-6.
