Dies of cardiac arrest

Bangalore: Basavaraj Pattanashetty (33), a constable with the District Armed Reserve in Koppal, died of cardiac arrest here on Sunday, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East) Basavaraja Malagatti. Pattanashetty was at a training camp at the Police Driving Motor School when he complained of chest pain. He took some tablets and slept in a room. His colleagues found him unconscious and shifted him to hospital where he was declared brought dead. — Staff Reporter
