Last date

CUDDALORE: In a statement issued here today Vice-Chancellor of Annamalai University M. Ramanathan has stated that the last date for the sale of applications and receipt of filled-in applications for all the programmes (except B.Ed programme) of the Directorate of Distance Education of the university has been extended to October 5, 2009.

Pact signed

In another statement, the V-C said the university had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the 24x7 Learning Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, for providing BBA (Global) and MBA (Global) programmes through distance education mode. These courses would equip the candidates to give a fillip to economic recovery, he said. M. Rathinasabapathi, Registrar, S.B. Nageswara Rao, Director, Directorate of Distance Education, and Anil Chhikara, president of the Bangalore company, were present.
