Site for cemetery sought

DEMAND: Keezhakututangadu residents, who submitted a petition in Tuticorin on Monday.

Tuticorin: Arunthathiyars submitted a petition to Collector G. Prakash here on Monday seeking site for cemetery in Keezhakututangadu in the district.

K. Perumalammal, district president, Arunthathi Women’s Association, said though the officials concerned assured the people of creating a site for cemetery, no headway had been made as of now.

She alleged that the other community people have got site for cemetery at the same place whereas people like us are being discriminated.
