THANJAVUR: The District Revenue Officer of Thanjavur district, M. Karunakaran, distributed Rs. 20,000 each to ten beneficiaries under Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Marriage assistance scheme at the general grievance day meeting held at the Collectorate here on Monday. He also handed over cheques to the tune of Rs. 67 lakh to head masters of various schools for taking up construction of additional class rooms, providing drinking water facilities, toilet facilities and kitchen facilities under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan scheme.
