Awards for three city-based NGOs

HYDERABAD: Three city-based Non Governmental Organisations working in the sphere of child health were among the six that were presented awards at the inaugural Lifebuoy National Child Health Symposium held at New Delhi, a press note from Lifebuoy informed on Monday.
Winners
The winners -- M.V.Foundation, Nice foundation and Mahita -- were recognised for their exemplary work in nutrition, education, hygiene, physical environment and psycho-social environment, the press note said.
Special award
M.V.Foundation received a special award for its work in all areas of child development, while Nice Foundation stood second runner-up in promoting psychological environment. Mahita stood a second runner-up in promoting education.
