Body to be brought home

KOZHIKODE: The body of Prabhakaran Kandioth, 55, who died in Saudi Arabia nearly three months ago, will be brought here by Wednesday afternoon.

His relatives were informed that Prabhakaran died on July 12 of cardiac arrest and that his body was kept at the government hospital in Riyadh as no one came forward to send it home. On receiving news of her husband’s death, his wife, Chandramathy, sought the help of M.K Raghavan, MP, to bring the body to Kozhikode.

Prabhakaran, a native of Ekarool in Koilandi taluk, was in Saudi Arabia for 18 years. . — Special Correspondent
