Walk in support of girl-child education

Kakinada: Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET) NSS wing organized a 2k walk from Sarpavaram Junction to RMC auditorium on Sunday in support of girl-child education. More than 250 girls and boys along with the faculty members participated.

Flagging off the walk, KIET Director John Uday Kumar exhorted the students to be emotionally strong and to be not negatively impacted by movies. NSS programme officer M Subramanyam, KIET Principal AVS Murthy, training and placement officer Y Rama Krishna and others took part.
