Water level

MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam on Sunday stood at 121.60 feet (full level 136 feet) with an inflow of 509 cusecs and a discharge of 763 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 55.58 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 530 cusecs and a discharge of 60 cusecs.

The combined Periyar credit stood at 4,588 mcft. Sothuparai recorded a rainfall of 2 mm, Sittampatti 12 mm, Pulipatti 2 mm, and Idayapatti 13.6 mm.
