NEW DELHI: About half-a-dozen computers were stolen from the UPSC office at Dholpur House near India Gate on August 31.
Subsequently an internal inquiry was ordered into the case to ascertain how the computer monitors and hard discs went missing.
About 10 days later, the UPSC authorities lodged a complaint with the Tilak Marg police, following which a case was registered. The police are trying to find out the nature of the data stored in the stolen hard discs.
