Seven militants arrested in J & K

JAMMU: Seven suspected militants were arrested in Doda and Srinagar districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Five kg RDX, a hand grenade and a rifle were also recovered, the police said on Sunday.

On a tip-off, the police raided a hideout at Ghar Sungle in Doda district and arrested three militants. A 12-bore rifle, two letter pads of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, 17 electrical detonators, a wireless set and a cigarette packet containing explosive sticks were also recovered. In another operation four suspected militants were held on the outskirts of Srinagar. — PTI
