AIEEE to go online from next academic year

KOZHIKODE: A meeting of the Directors of the National Institutes of Technology has proposed to conduct the All-India Engineering Entrance Examinations (AIEEE) online from the next academic year, G.R.C. Reddy, Director of the NIT, Calicut, said on Tuesday.

The Directors prepared a concept paper.

The paper version would be administered for a couple of years to give a level-playing field to rural students who are not familiar with computers, he told journalists here.
