‘Navarathri’ concerts at park

CHENNAI: As part of Sundaram Finance’s monthly mike-less ‘Sunday Kutcheri in the Park’ series, a three-day ‘Navarathri Special’ will be on from Friday at the Nageswara Rao park, Mylapore.
On the first day, 12-year-old T. Harini and T. Aishwarya (9) will present a Carnatic music performance at 6.30 a.m. They will be accompanied by S. Sivasubramanian on the mridangam, R.M. Adithya on the dolki and Mannargudi V. Shankarraman on the harmonium.
B. Mrinalini (12) will present a concert on September 26. She will be accompanied by C. Sarada on the violin and B.Venkataraman on mridangam. R.Muralikrishna will perform on September 27 and he will be accompanied by Sriram Sridhar on the violin and Thirucherai Kaushik Rajagopal on the mridangam.
