Health official’s daughter H1N1-affected

HYDERABAD: L. Aparna, daughter of L. V. Subrahmanyam, secretary, Health, who is presently monitoring the swine-flu situation in the State, has been affected by the disease. She is said to be suffering from “D” category swine-flu. She is doing her Bachelor of Business Management degree course at Symbiosis College at Pune, where the disease is widespread. Mr. Subrahmanyam told The Hindu that she had reached Hyderabad with slight fever, cough and cold. On his advice, she had subjected herself to tests at Chest Hospital, the nodal agency swine-flu nodal agency of the State, which found her samples to be positive but on a low level.
