Revenue staff hold demonstration

VISAKHAPATNAM: The district unit of AP Revenue Services’ Association staged a lunch-hour demonstration at the Collectorate here on Friday in protest against the revision of seniority list.

Recently the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration issued orders to revise the seniority list and also started its implementation. This would lead to many employees getting reverted to junior posts and about 150 in Visakhapatnam alone would be affected, APRSA district secretary N.A.N. Swamy said.

From Friday, the APRSA commenced a State-wide protest programme and held lunch-hour demonstrations
