Rs. 2.5 lakh snatched from man

HYDERABAD: Two motorcycle-borne miscreants made away with Rs.2.5 lakh in cash from a retired employee at Snehapuri crossroads in L.B. Nagar on Friday.

B. Veeraiah (60), a resident of Snehapuri Colony, was retuning home on foot when the miscreants came from behind on a black motorcycle and snatched a plastic cover containing Rs.2.5 lakh. Police launched a manhunt to trace the offenders.
