Two injured in freak accident

SIVAKASI: Two workers sustained burn injuries in an accidental fire at an explosives dealer’s premises near here on Saturday.

The police said that K. Lingam (27) and P. Amsavalli (60) were injured in the fire that was triggered by friction while cleaning the premises for ayudha puja. Both of the them have been admitted to the Government Hospital here.

The police have picked up two persons in this connection.
