AIR music concert

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Akashvani Sangeeth Sammelan 2009 will be held at the Vyloppilli Samskrithi Bhavan here on October 3.

It will get under way with a violin concert by Dwaram Durgaprasad Rao at 6 p.m., followed by a Thalavadya katcheri with Alugolu Satyanarayana on the thavil at 7 p.m., and a vocal concert by Savita Narasimhan at 7.30 p.m. All India Radio will broadcast the vocal concert at 10 p.m. on November 11. The violin concert will be broadcast at 9.30 p.m. and the Thalavadya katcheri at 10.30 p.m. on November 15. — Special Correspondent
