Three killed

TIRUVARUR: Three persons were killed on the spot when the motor bike in which they were travelling collided head on with a tourist van, coming from Kerala to Velankanni at Bamini near Mannargudi on Thiruthuraipoondi-Nagapattinam Road on Saturday. The deceased Mahendran(20), Ramanathan(25) of Keezhakarai near Thillaivilaham and Saravanan(23) of Panchanathikulam near Thillavilaham were coming from Velankanni to Thillaivilaham near Thiruthuraipoondi. Jagadeesan, van driver, was arrested by the police.
