Adulterated tea powder seized

CHENNAI: Health Department officials of the Chennai Corporation on Saturday seized over 289 kg of adulterated tea powder from various locations in the city. The seized powder was disposed in garbage dump yards. The Food Inspectors and Sanitary Inspectors conducted raids in 150 places and took samples, according to a press release.
