‘Kasab confessed voluntarily’

MUMBAI: Ajmal ‘Kasab,’ the lone surviving gunman, confessed voluntarily to his crime in the Mumbai attack, since he wanted others to derive “inspiration” from his action, according to the magistrate who recorded his confession. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rama Vijay Sawant Vagule told the special court on Wednesday that ‘Kasab’ had expressed his desire to confess when he was produced before her on February 17.
