VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University School of Distance Education is allowing its PG students to go for improvement and attend supplementary examinations, its Director P. Hrushikesava Rao said. Provision for improvement was allowed within three years from the year of passing and a candidate could appear for the whole examination, of either previous or final year. Paper-wise improvement was also allowed and the opportunity was restricted to only one chance immediately after passing the respective examination. Fee for improvement for a year is Rs. 1,000, which is in addition to the examination fee. PG students are also allowed to appear for the supplementary examinations, to be held during January-February every year. An additional fee of Rs. 500 will be collected for the supplementary examination.
