NIZAMABAD: The Sierra Atlantic vice-president Allen Deary has exhorted the students of engineering courses to be very positive about their future prospects and not to heed the word “no”. He said they must have an inner calling and show complete dedication to their work. Delivering the keynote address at the workshop on ‘EGG-NEST Programme’ jointly organised by the Sierra Atlantic, USA and Vijay Rural Engineering College, on the college premises, here on Wednesday, he said plenty of job opportunities were awaiting engineering graduates. He highlighted that technologists should be proactive in their approach and should provide an ignited mind and spirit. “Our expectations and aspirations should guide us into our future”, he said. In order to be successful, an individual should acquire independent thinking, challenging spirit, control over work, vision, ideas and be oblivious to the word “sleep”, he said. Mr. Deary lauded VREC for its achievements and its zeal in organising the prestigious ‘EGG-NEST Programme’ for the benefit of its students. He also emphasised the need for further interaction between Sierra Atlantic and VREC in future plan to provide job opportunities.
