Indian team to take part in Asian under-16 meet

BANGALORE: A 30-member Indian team will participate in the AFC under-16 football championship to be held at the Al Khatara stadium in Al Ain, UAE, from October 3 to 13.

The team comprises of 18 players, four stand-byes and eight officials led by chief of delegation A.R. Khaleel, senior vice president AIFF.

India opens its league engagements against Jordan on October 3

India’s schedule:

October 5: vs Turmekistan, October 8: v Kyrgystan, October 10: v Oman and October 13: v UAE.
