THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Food and Civil Supplies C. Divakaran on Thursday visited the homes of those from Delhi who died in the boat tragedy at Thekkady on Wednesday. Six members of a family in the Muttan Nagar and four members of a family in Javalahiri Nagar and Harinder Singh and Palika from Delhi were among those who had died in the accident. The Minister called on their families to express his condolences. An official release, issued here, said that a control room had been opened at the Kerala House in Delhi. It would function day and night. The Minister had made arrangements for receiving bodies for the Kerala government in Delhi and sent them to the home States of the dead in conjunction with the Offices of the Prime Minister and Defence Minister.
