Loans distributed to SHG members

CHENGAM: Members of 17 self-help groups were given away loans to the tune of Rs.15.40 lakh at a function in Chengam taluk on Saturday.

The loan amount was distributed under the “Vazhundu Kattuvom” scheme. They were distributed to the SHGs of Arundatheear Colony.

A total of 85 persons belonging to the 17 SHGs benefited from the loans.
