Collector warns FP shop dealers

VIZIANAGARAM: Collector G. Ram Narayana Reddy has warned FP shop dealers of imprisonment if they resorted to malpractices in the distribution of essential commodities to ration cardholders.

At a review meeting with officials of Civil Supplies and Revenue Department on Saturday, the Collector asked deputy tehsildars to check records regularly and ensure that rice is supplied every month from 1st to 18th and other essentials like palm oil, sugar, kerosene and pulses up to 25th.

He asked dealers to receive their quota by 30th, according to a release.
