Schoolchildren produce documentary film on flu

A Correspondent

KALPETTA: ‘H1N1 Rogame Thirichupoku,’ a 25-minute documentary film on swine flu produced by the students of Vanjode Aided Upper Primary School, near Vellamunda, focusses on various aspects of the disease, including its symptoms and preventive measures.

It also tries to eradicate the scare created by the disease.

The documentary was produced as part of a Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan project. The schoolchildren consulted several health experts for its production, M.K. Raveendran, a teacher and the director of the documentary said.

“As many as 20 students of the school appear in the documentary. We are planning to screen the film through the Block Resources Centres in the district,” Mr. Raveendran said.
