SALEM: A woman was allegedly robbed of 11 sovereigns of gold jewellery at a temple near here on Saturday.The police said that Sevammal of Ammapalayam had gone to Oosimalai temple to offer her prayers. Only after she had distributed food to devotees did she realise that her gold jewellery was missing. A complaint was preferred with the police.
