Bahraich (Uttar Pradesh): Panic gripped a village here after a leopard killed a seven-year-old girl in Katarniyaghat wildlife sanctuary area, officials said on Sunday. The leopard, which strayed into district’s Anand Nagar village on Saturday, attacked the girl and injured her seriously. The girl was rushed to district hospital, where she succumbed to injuries, the regional forest officer, R K Singh, said. On September 29, a leopard killed a five-year-old boy Mahesh and injured three others in Kanda village. -- PTI
