Rain claims four lives in Agency area

Visakhapatnam: Rain in the district in the last few days claimed four lives, mostly in the agency area. Incidentally, all the four were washed off in rivulets which were in spate due to incessant rain.

According to officials, Koppadi Bojjanna (50) of Isakalu village in Paderu mandal, Gorle Channamma Naidu (30) of AL.Puram in Goligonda mandal, Banta Appala Naidu of JD.Peta in Madugula mandal and Sheik Fatima (60) of Bogapuram in Chodavaram mandal were the victims. Also, 385 houses were damaged in the district, of them 32 are fully damaged and the remaining were partially damaged.
