Mobile service to repair water leakage

THANJAVUR: Thanjavur Municipality has procured a Mobile Water Leak Detection and Repairing Van (Blue Brigade). The van procured at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh will go to places where there are leakage of water and repair them on call. The van has iron barricades to block the road where work is on, a generator, a water testing laboratory and a computer. “Thanjavur is one among the fifteen Municipalities which have been provided with a van”, said Municipal officials.The service will begin after the registration of the van. This will help in attending to works that require immediate attention, officials said.
