Choice, BVV in last eight
KOCHI: The Choice School and Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya entered the quarterfinals of the 23rd Refinian Cup inter-school cricket tournament at the Cochin Refineries School Ground, Ambalamugal, on Friday.
The scores (pre-quarterfinals):
The Choice School (Tripunithura) 153 in 20 overs (Harikrishnan 56, C.A. Mathew 35, Rayan five for 16, Mathew five for 31) bt Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya (Kakkanad) 69 in 11.3 overs (C.A. Mathew three for four, Aaleem three for 34).
Sree Narayana Vidya Peedam (Tripunithura) 98 for seven in 20 overs (Krishnakumar five for 13) lost to Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya (Thrikakkara) 102 for seven in 20 overs (Vivek four for 16).
