Big win for BEML (Mysore)
Mysore: Helped by some good batting by opener Murali Mohan (75) and a useful all-round performance by A.R. Ramesh (31 & four for 35), BEML Ltd. (Mysore) registered a big 115-run win over Sunny Side CC in their Group ‘D’ league tie played at the NIE grounds here on Friday.
The scores: BEML Ltd (Mysore) 246 in 42.2 overs (Murali Mohan 75, C.G. Jagadish Kumar 31, A.R. Ramesh 31, Vijeth three for 26) bt Sunny Side CC 131 in 36.2 overs (Poornachandra 39, A.R. Ramesh four for 35).
Jo Jo CC 89 in 20 overs (Wasim 58, L. Chethan five for nine) lost to Mysore City Gymkhana 101 for two (Bhaskar 39, 10 penalty runs for slow over-rate).
